Delete your Hoursbox account

You can delete your Hoursbox account yourself, from inside the app, in about thirty seconds. There is no support ticket and no waiting period. If you would rather not use the app, there is an email route below.

Deletion is immediate and permanent. There is no grace period, no archive, and no way for us to bring your data back afterwards — not even if you ask the next day. If you want to keep a copy of your tracked hours, export them first — the web app's Timesheet page exports your hours by activity and date to CSV for any date range. It is the only export we offer today: it does not include your reflections, notebooks or priorities. If you need those, email us before you delete and we will send you what we hold.

Delete it from the app

Web — app.hoursbox.com

Sign in at app.hoursbox.com.
Open Settings and find the Account section.
Choose Delete account.
Confirm you are the owner — your current password, or a fresh Google sign-in if that is how you sign in.
Press Delete my account.

Android — the Hoursbox app

Open Settings and scroll to Danger zone.
Tap Delete account.
Type DELETE — or HAPUS if the app is in Indonesian — to confirm you meant it.
Confirm you are the owner — your current password, or a fresh Google sign-in.
Tap the delete button. You are signed out as soon as it completes.

The ownership check is deliberate: a phone left unlocked is not consent to erase everything. If you sign in with Google, the confirmation re-runs Google sign-in, and the token it returns is valid for only an hour — so it proves you are there now, not that you were there a month ago.

Delete it by email

If you have lost access to the app — or you simply prefer it — email hello@hoursbox.com with the subject “Delete my Hoursbox account”.

Send it from the email address on the account. That is how we confirm the request is yours; we cannot act on a request sent from any other address.
We confirm the deletion by reply within 30 days, and in practice much sooner.
We will never ask you for your password by email.

What gets deleted

Everything tied to your account, in one transaction:

Your account itself — email address, name, password, workspace name, plan and role.
Everything you created: Big 3 priorities, categories, time blocks, timer sessions, manual time entries, goals, checklists and their completions, daily and weekly reflections, notebooks, sections and notes, plan intents, drink logs, sit logs and prayer logs.
Your Focus Score history, streaks, and every statistic derived from the above.
Your Google sign-in identity, deleted at Google Firebase, so the account cannot simply be signed back into.
Your Google Calendar connection — the grant is revoked at Google first, while it is still ours to revoke, and then the stored access and refresh tokens are erased. A permission we only forgot locally would be a permission that still worked.
Any pending password-reset links, and your address on the early-access waitlist if it was ever there.
Your name, email address and account id, stripped from every historical entry in our security log.

An automated test runs on every release that walks the entire database schema — every table, every column that could hold an account id or an email address — and fails the build if a single row survives deletion. It is not a checklist someone maintains by hand.

Active Pro time is forfeited. Deleting your account also erases any subscription redemption on it. We cannot restore or transfer remaining Pro time afterwards, so use it before you delete.

What we keep, and for how long

A few things do not disappear, and we would rather tell you plainly than let you discover it:

After you delete

Your session stops working immediately, on every device that was signed in.
Nothing is recoverable. We have no undo and no hidden copy.
You are welcome back. Signing up again with the same email address gives you a brand-new, completely empty account — it shares nothing with the one you deleted.

Menghapus akun Hoursbox Anda

Penghapusan bersifat langsung dan permanen. Tidak ada masa tunggu dan tidak ada cara untuk mengembalikan data Anda setelahnya. Lewat aplikasi

Web — masuk ke app.hoursbox.com, buka Settings lalu bagian Account, pilih Delete account, dan konfirmasi dengan kata sandi atau masuk ulang dengan Google.
Android — buka Setelan lalu Zona berbahaya, ketuk Hapus akun, ketik HAPUS, dan konfirmasi dengan kata sandi atau masuk ulang dengan Google.

Lewat email

Kirim email ke hello@hoursbox.com dari alamat email akun Anda dengan subjek “Hapus akun Hoursbox saya”. Kami membalas dan menyelesaikannya dalam waktu maksimal 30 hari. Kami tidak akan pernah meminta kata sandi Anda lewat email.

Yang dihapus

Akun Anda beserta seluruh isinya: prioritas Big 3, kategori, blok waktu, sesi timer, entri waktu manual, target, checklist, refleksi harian dan mingguan, notebook dan catatan, log minum, log duduk, dan log salat — juga identitas Google Anda dan izin Google Calendar, yang dicabut langsung di Google. Sisa masa Pro yang aktif ikut hilang dan tidak dapat dipulihkan.

Yang tetap disimpan

Satu catatan penghapusan — alamat email, tanggal, metode konfirmasi, dan alamat IP — sebagai bukti permintaan Anda telah dipenuhi. Maksimal 12 bulan.
Catatan keamanan aktivitas lama yang nama, email, dan ID akunnya sudah dihapus. Maksimal 12 bulan.
